Kiran, better known by his stage name Speaker Head, is a professional multi-genre DJ hailing from Kerala. Over the past seven years, his passion for music has transformed from casual hobby to professional career. Kiran spent his early career juggling part-time gigs while working a demanding 9-to-5 job. But as time went on, he realized that his true calling was music.
Faced with the decision to continue down the traditional career path or pursue his love for music full-time, Kiran chose the latter, even though it shocked his family. It took some convincing, but his dedication and determination eventually won them over. Taking the plunge into the music world, he embraced the challenges that came with starting fresh experimenting with various styles, genres, and honing his craft. Now based in Dubai, Speaker Head has transitioned his sets to hiphop and commercial. His journey to success has been far from easy, marked by years of hard work, countless rejections, and constant self-motivation. It took him nearly a decade to find his footing, but his discipline and unwavering passion have paid off.
When Kiran speaks about music, particularly hip-hop, his words are filled with a deep sense of love and purpose. "Music is the only thing I do for myself, for my own happiness," he says. "Nothing else in the world makes me feel the way music does." Kiran’s story is one of perseverance, passion, and finding your true path. His journey reminds us that success in any field is a result of commitment and believing in your passion—even when the road ahead seems uncertain.
