Nikhil Kuriakose, well known by his stage name DJ Tramero, is an Afrohouse/ multi-genre dj from Trivandrum who turned his childhood dream to a profession as a DJ. It all started in the year 2016. During his school years, he watched live performances by EDM legends like Martin Garrix and Hardwell at festivals, which sparked his interest in becoming a DJ himself. He bought his first console with the help of his family and started learning DJing from the internet.
He started meeting more people. Soon, Tramero began assisting DJs and playing at small gigs and clubs. By 2020, influenced by his favorite artists Martin Garrix and Zedd, he began music production, creating mashup edits, and collaborating with friends and creating new music. He released his debut single 'Fake World' with Mabic in 2021. While studying in college, he managed to keep his passion alive, but things took a huge turn when he met Jijo, aka Mental Monkey. Tramero describes him as the maestro who shaped his entire career and vision for music. After meeting him, his entire world of DJing and production changed. Mental Monkey helped him refine his DJing skills and find his unique sound in music production. After moving to Dubai, he explored more genres like Afro House, Amapiano, and other world music genres and began creating edits and originals in the genres.
Tramero do his lives with a touch of his music taste and MC skills. He is always trying to engage audience with his unique blend. He plans to release more songs in the coming years, focusing on expressing his style, growing his audience, and entertaining them. He strives to engage his audience and make each performance memorable. Tramero says, “An artist should be happy while performing for the audience. We should make them feel like they're in heaven, and to do that, the artist must be in heaven first”.
